Technologies 20/10/2008 Beeline launches subscriber self-service terminal

Unitel LLC, subsidiary of the VimpelCom OJSC, rendering mobile communication services under the Beeline trademark in the territory of Uzbekistan, launched a project “Subscriber self-service terminal”, the company said in a statement on Monday, 20 October.

The first terminal was installed in sales and service office of Beeline, located at 1, Bukhra street in Tashkent city, the company said.

“We constantly work so that using of our services becomes more convenient and comfortable for our subscribers. Provision with appropriate conditions to clients during payment is one of the priorities of our work,” Commercial Director Andrei Soloukhin said.

Rahmatilla Irisov, who has been a subscriber of Unitel since 1997, successfully carried out the first transaction through the terminal. “There are a lot of payment points in the city, but basically one may pay for services during the working day. The new terminal is very handy, because it is possible to fill in an account at any time”, - he said.

The statement said subscriber self-service terminal is the equipment functioning without fail and operator. Experience of CIS countries and Russia shows that the present service has great perspectives. For convenience and simplicity, there are special instructions for clients on the monitor of the terminal. Payment is entered in real time mode.

At present payment can be received only for cellular service of Beeline. Soon there will be possible to pay for services of integrated companies of “Buzton” and Beeline rendering service under the single trademark of Beeline, the company noted.

To provide payment in real time mode, similar terminals will be installed in all Beeline offices and other places suitable for subscribers, the statement concluded.
