Beeline launches service “Gmail via SMS”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) launched a service “Gmail via SMS”, which allows subscribers to use chat of Gmail for free and send messages to friends.

At the same time, addressees will receive SMS messages for free to their handsets, the operator said.

Oraz Abdurazakov, Unitel’s Senior Communications Manager, said that for Beeline subscribers it is just SMS message and for Gmail users is just ordinary chat. At current load of network, it makes communication easier and comfortable, he added.

The operator said that there is quota for SMS messages. Preliminary, subscribers of Gmail chat will have quota for 50 messages and it decreases by 1. If subscriber replies to message, Gmail user’s quota will increase by five, but will not exceed 50. If the SMS quota decreases to 0, the quota will turn to 1 after 24 hours.
