Beeline gives subscribers “presence effect”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Largest communication operator Beeline introduced high-definition voice technology in its 3G network. Since last week, millions of subscribers have been able to assess the high quality of crystal clear sound, the operator said.

Technical Director of Unitel LLC Eugene Klyuchev said: “Technologies move forward, but one thing remains constant - the need of subscribers in a reliable voice connection. Therefore, the quality of communication is our strategic priority, and the inclusion of the “effect of presence” is a huge step in this direction. Subscribers expect from a market leader such projects, and we are proud of its successful implementation.”

During a phone conversation for voice with the “presence effect” codec AMR-WB (Adaptive Multi Rate Wadeband - wideband adaptive coding with variable speed) uses the frequency range 50Hz-7 kHz.

This innovative solution is already in force in the third generation network of Beeline in the capital; Tashkent, Syrdarya, Samarkand and Andijan regions, as well as the city of Kokand. In the coming weeks the residents of other regions of Uzbekistan will be able to take advantage of the new technology.
