Beeline expands roaming service geography
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) expanded geography of international roaming service.

The agreements on rendering GPRS roaming service was signed with Safaricom (Kenya). Now, voice roaming service is available at the network of Telecel (Zimbabwe). The company also launched CAMEL roaming with LMT (Latvia).

Unitel technical director Anton Golikov said “We are planning to expand list of roaming partners worldwide. Many our subscribers in mass market and corporate market actively use this service and Beeline, as number one roaming operator in Uzbekistan, allows subscribers not think about communication during foreign trips.”

Beeline subscribers can also use CAMEL roaming. The service allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
