Beeline expands number of its roaming partners in May
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) announced about expansion of geography of voice, GPRS and CAMEL roaming.

From May 2010, the agreements on rendering international voice roaming entered into force with Smart Mobile (Cambodia), Cable&Wireless (Seychelles), Cambodia Advance Communications (Cadcomms) (Cambodia), Africell (Gambia), Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) (Malawi), Telecom Personal (Argentina), Zantel (Tanzania), and MTN (Ghana).

Unitel technical director Anton Golikov underlined that the new wide-scale expansion of roaming partners of Beeline once more confirms its status as leading roaming operator. Unitel customers can be sure that they will be in touch in business and tourism trips.

The operator said not GPRS roaming is available at the networks of the partners Vodacom (South Africa), Orange Austria Telecommunication GmbH (Austria), Ukrtelecom (Ukraine), Orange Communications SA (Switzerland), Latvian Mobile Telephone (LMT) (Latvia), BSNL (India), Best (Belarus), Chunghwa Telecom Mobile (Taiwan), Claro (Dominican Republic) and Telma (Madagascar).

CAMEL roaming allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.

Now, CAMEL-roaming service is available for Beeline subscribers at the networks of Advanced Info Service (AIS) (Thailand), Best (Belarus), Orange (Moldavia),“Azercell (Azerbaijan).
