Unitel’s Tashkent regional branch director Shukhrat Tokhtaboev said: “Our branch, serving large part of the company’s subscribers base, almost coveralls all population settlements.” He said that the company is installing basic stations to expand network and improve service quality. He added that development of 3G network in Tashkent city and Tashkent region is strategic priority.

Construction of new basic stations allowed to improve radio coverage in Akkurgan city, Bekabad city, Gazalkent cit, Keles city, Pskent city and Chirchiq city. Installation of additional equipment helped to increase capacity in Kushtapa and Hanabad districts, as well as Akkurgan-Sayhun highway. Besides, the company expanded 3G network in Tashkent city’s districts by one third.
