Beeline expands communication borders
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) announced about expansion of geography of the international roaming service.

The operator said it signed agreements with Vodacom (Lesotho), Faroese Telecom (Faroe Islands), Orange (Niger), Metfone (Cambodia), StarTelecom (Laos), Free Mobile (France) and Vodafone (Qatar).

Senior Communications Officer of Unitel Oraz Abdurazakov said that the operator became roaming operator No. 1 in Uzbekistan a year ago and since the company has expanding number of roaming partners. He said that those subscribers, who planning New Year trips, can stay in touch anywhere.

Beeline subscribers can also use CAMEL roaming. The service allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.

The operator said that CAMEL-roaming service is now available at the network of Orange (Tunis), Trilogy (Dominicana), VIP Mobile (Serbia), Jersey Telecom (Great Britain), MTN (Cyprus), MCI (Iran), Telkomsel (Indonesia), Unitel (Mobgolia) and Vodafone (Qatar).
