Andrei Safronyuk, director-general of Unitel LLC, said the company launched new 3G networks in tens of Uzbek cities. He added that millions of people received access to mobile internet at 3G speed, which reach 7.2 Mbps.

“This is significant contribution to internetization of Uzbekistan and we are proud to make such gift to population of Uzbekistan on the eve of Independence Day,” he added.

The operator said that it constructed over 100 basic stations in all regions of Uzbekistan and network capacity increased by 20%. Besides, Beeline expanded its network coverage area.
