Beeline celebrates 8th anniversary in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Largest communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) commemorates an anniversary of launch of the brand in Uzbekistan.

Beeline brand was launched in Uzbekistan eight years ago and now the company is a leader in telecommunications industry. After VimpelCom acquired Unitel, the subscriber base rose 25 times and exceeded 10.434 million people.

Unitel CEO Alexander Vorobyov said investments of the company to equipment and network exceed a billion of US dollars. Currently, Beeline is only operator in Uzbekistan, which offers its customers services on all standards and technologies. He said that Beeline will continue to work on improvement of services. He noted that the company will install hundreds of base stations by the end of 2014.

Beeline became the first operator, which launched 3G network. On 4 September, the operator became the first operator in Uzbekistan, which launched 4G LTE network into commercial exploitation.

Being a customer-oriented company, Beeline pays close attention to subscriber satisfication. The company offers various brands and programmes for subscribers.

Among the largest business clients of the company, are National Bank of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, GM Uzbekistan, Nestle Uzbekistan, Uztransgaz, Maxam-Chirchiq, LUKOIL, etc.

Beeline is also one of the largest taxpayers in Uzbekistan: from 2006 to 2013 the amount of paid taxes made up about 1 trillion soums.
