Beeline broadens list of roaming partners
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) expanded geography of voice, GPRS- and CAMEL-roaming.

The operator said GPRS-roaming is available in networks of Zong (Pakistan), KPN B.V. (Netherlands), Era (Poland) and VIP (Macedonia).

The agreement on voice-roaming was inked with Nova (Iceland), Claro (Dominican Republic) and Hutchison (Macao). Beeline’s CAMEL-roaming service is available in Zain (Saudi Arabia), Hutchison 3G (Hong Kong) and Vodafone (Italy).

Anton Golikov, technical director of Unitel, said the status of global roaming operator No. 1 impose special responsibility. People, who travel with Beeline communication, should feel themselves comfortably and the company does all possible for it.

CAMEL roaming allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
