Beeline blocks malicious spam-sites for its subscribers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Largest communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) prevented another wave of SMS-spam with changed malicious links. Today the subscribers of mobile operators massively receivedSMS: "Привет! Тебе фото: https://strofan.ru/.............../".

The purpose of the spam attack, as at the end of last week, is to install malicious software on the mobile device of the subscriber via sending dangerous link to all the recipients of his contact list. As a result subscribers may lose personal data, money, download a malicious program on their mobile and etc.

"Once again we remind that in the case of receipt of such SMS it is necessary to delete it immediately, in any case without activating the link, — says CIO of Unitel Yevgeny Kogay. — Our experts have taken measures to block malicious sites, so for our subscribers using mobile Internet Beeline, there is no danger. Nevertheless there remains the possibility of infection while in Wi-Fi networks, so it is necessary to be careful".

It should be recalled that the malicious software, which is used in spamming, primarily dangerous for devices with Android operating system.
