Gift set of Home Internet with 3G USB-modem was handed over to UzSciNet education coordinator Liliya Nikolenko, who received “Silver Horseshoe” at the .UZ National Domain Internet Festival in nomination of “The Best Personal Page”. Besides, portal of the center - www.edunet.uz - was named the best site in science and education.

Igor Pilyugin, Unitel Director-General, commented: “It is great honour for us to contribute to the work of the Center, introducing IT technologies in school education. We frankly hope that Home Internet set will make the work of the Center for comfortable and effective. With all our heart, we congratulate the Center and all teachers with the Day of teachers and tutors!”

UzSciNet coordinator Liliya Nikolenko said: “Last few days were very fruitful for our community: five our website became winner of Planet Internet Marathon, two resources won the prize of Internet Festival .UZ, so Beeline award became for us effective conclusion of ICT Week. Now leaders of the community can hold presentations and seminars without fear of existence of Internet in place. Now, mobile Internet from Beeline will be with us in any school of Uzbekistan. We are touched with attention of the large company and we hope to continue our cooperation within Mobile Etiquette project and other social initiative of Beeline.”

Interschool Resource Center was created within pilot initiative of “School Goes Digital” (UNDP project No. 00015506 Capacity Building for Internet Technologies Development and Promotion in Uzbekistan Phase 2). The center is part of Science and Education Network UzSciNet, which develops and introduces computer technologies in school education. The center occupies develops and holds approbation of pedagogical technologies, methods of education management and pedagogical processes in schools with use of ICT. Media pedagogics and interactive forms of education and development are popular.
