Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — South Korean payment system BC Card and Uzbek payment system HUMO have signed an agreement to integrate their systems.
On 23 August, BC Card CEO Choi Won-seok and First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Interbank Processing Center" (HUMO) Maksad Mukhtidinov signed the cooperation agreement.
Maksad Mukhtidinov emphasized that this agreement strengthens international relations in the field of cashless payments and provides an opportunity for HUMO and BC Card holders to use their cards in both countries.
He also noted that the integration of payment systems will create convenient conditions for financial transactions and payments for Uzbek citizens residing in Korea.
It is worth noting that since summer 2022, Uzbek citizens have been able to use HUMO cards in Georgia, making purchases at retail locations and withdrawing cash through TBC Bank ATMs.
