Bank Ipak Yuli issues over 101,000 payment cards

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bank Ipak Yuli issued over 101,000 soums payment cards as of 1 April 2010, of which 90,400 cards were issued within the so-called salary project. At the moment, the bank installed over 1,400 POS-terminals at the trade and service points.

Bank Ipak Yuli has started to issue payment cards to population of Uzbekistan since April 2005. The bank also issues corporate payment cards.

The bank said along with soum cards, it is emitting international payment cards Visa Classic and China UnionPay.
