Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the staff visit of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a meeting was held between the leadership of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and an IMF delegation led by country mission chief Ron van Ruden.

During the meeting, the leadership of the Central Bank briefed the IMF representatives with preliminary indicators of the balance of payments for 9 months of this year. In particular, the indicators of the current account and the financial account, as well as the factors that influenced their formation, were considered in detail.

The parties also discussed the current situation in foreign trade and forecast indicators of the balance of payments for the current year.
