Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 October 2024, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Egypt, Tamer Fathi Abdussalam Hammadi.
The official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Cairo last year laid a new foundation for a promising partnership between the two nations.
The parties expressed mutual interest in deepening cooperation in the political, economic, and cultural spheres, as well as through public diplomacy.
“Our embassies undoubtedly play a crucial role in enriching the agenda of active and close cooperation. We wish the new Ambassador of Egypt a productive and successful tenure in Uzbekistan,” noted the Foreign Minister in his Telegram channel.
