Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek boxer Bahodir Jalolov claimed victory over Ukrainian fighter Igor Shevadzutskiy in a ten-round bout held on 5 April 2025, at the "Barys Arena" in Astana.

Jalolov, the Olympic champion and undefeated heavyweight, won by unanimous decision after all ten rounds. This marked Jalolov's first professional victory that did not come via knockout. He remains undefeated, with 15 wins to his name.

Additionally, Uzbekistan celebrated another victory that night as Otazbek Kholmatov defeated Jason Kano Manigos by technical knockout in the eighth round.
