Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A state subsidy was allocated to a 3-star hotel in Khorezm. The certificate of subsidy was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development, Aziz Abdukhakimov.

Today in our country much attention is paid to the tourism sector. For tourism business entrepreneurs, the Government provides many benefits and preferences. According to the relevant decision, part of the expenses of investors in the construction and equipping of the new Uzbekistan Hotel in Khorezm Region was covered from the State budget in the form of a allocated subsidy.

The three-star hotel "Uzbekistan" has 57 rooms with 114 beds. In 2019, 87 accommodation facilities were put into operation in the Khorezm region, which began to provide quality hotel services to tourists. This is 7 times more than last year.

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 27, 2019 No. 433 “On measures to create favorable conditions for the further development of the hotel industry” approved the Regulation on the procedure for allocating funds from the State budget to compensate part of the costs of investors for the construction and equipping of new hotels, as well as financing organizations for the basis of franchising agreements.

According to the Regulation, the following amounts of compensation from the State Budget are established for investors and entrepreneurs for the construction and equipping of hotels: 40 million soums for each room in hotels with a category of 3 stars; 65 million soums for each room in hotels with a category of 4 stars.
