Press service of the President told APA Azerbaijani leader said friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries, which based on ancient history, were successfully developed. "We have general opinion that integration processes, cooperation and joint projects will strengthen bilateral relations and create new opportunities for cooperation. Uzbekistan is friendly and fraternal country for us and we highly appreciate your support in the international organizations. For our part, we will also be together with you as it was earlier".

In his turn, calling Azerbaijan as fraternal country, President of Uzbekistan noted that the two countries were close both historically and culturally. "It is difficult to find in the world two peoples tied with each other by their roots. We can talk in our native language and we will always understand each other".

Following the large meeting the presidents attended the signing ceremony of bilateral documents. Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Bagirov and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Nodirkhon Khanov signed an agreement for cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and State Nature Protection Committee of Uzbekistan in the field of protection of environment.

Minister of Communication and Information Technology of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Nodirkhon Khanov signed an agreement for cooperation between the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Azerbaijan and Communication and Electronic Communication Development Agency of Uzbekistan in the field of communication and information technologies.

Minister of Transport of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov and Minister of Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiyev signed an agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for deepening of cooperation in the field of railway transport and development of combined shipment.

Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan Fazil Mammadov and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov signed an agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for cooperation and information exchange in the field of taxes.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov signed an agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for mutual protection of secret information.

The last agreement was signed for development of economic-commercial and scientific-technical cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov signed the document.
