Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Rights Protection has launched an investigation into Avesta Komfort Eko-Gaz for the illegal installation of an advertising structure.
The regulatory authority’s office in Syrdarya region discovered an advertising stand placed near a gas filling station owned by the company. The stand was positioned beside the road without the necessary registration and approval of the object.
Despite a warning from the Committee, the owner of the gas station failed to rectify the violations. As a result, a special commission from the Committee initiated a case for violation of the "Advertising Law" and regulations regarding the installation of advertising structures.
Avesta Komfort Eko-Gaz was fined. Additionally, the Committee issued an order for the company to eliminate the violations and prevent them from occurring in the future.
