Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Automatic luggage storage lockers have been introduced at Tashkent Airport to provide convenience for passengers who wish to store their luggage and freely explore the city. These lockers are now available at both international and domestic flight terminals.

In the international terminal, the luggage storage facility is located on the first floor of the departure zone, near the fourth exit. It operates around the clock. The storage fee depends on the size of the luggage, ranging from 15,000 to 40,000 soums per hour.

There are three sizes of lockers available: standard (60×50×80 cm), medium (90×50×80 cm), and large (180×50×80 cm).

In the domestic terminal, the luggage storage is situated between the departure and arrival halls and also operates 24/7. A single fee of 10,000 soums per hour applies regardless of luggage size. Small lockers (43×50×34 cm) and standard lockers (60×50×80 cm) are available.

Payment for using the automatic lockers is made by selecting the appropriate locker and paying via cash through a bill acceptor or by bank card. The installation of these lockers became possible following electronic auctions conducted on the E-auksion.uz platform.
