Assets of Credit Standard Bank reach 276bn soums in 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Assets of open joint stock commercial bank Credit Standard made up 276 billion soums in 2010, and the growth made up 15% year-on-year.

According to the bank, its loan portfolio in 2010 reached 41.398 billion soums, investment and securities portfolio – 16.851 billion soums (US$1 – 1640.55 soums).

Own capital of Credit Standard Bank rose by 5% year-on-year and made up 34.904 billion soums and net income grew by 36% year-on-year to 8.592 billion soums.

The volume of money resources, attracted on deposits, grew by 40% year-on-year to 165.510 billion soums.

Number of corporate clients rose by 25%. The main customers of the bank are large state enterprises, companies with foreign capital, as well as large and medium private businesses.

Credit Standard Bank said that it improved programme of consumer crediting and expanded mortgage crediting products. In 2010, the bank issued loans for 66.8 billion soums, including to real sector of economy – 43.2 billion soums.

The bank also actively participated in implementation of the state programmes. The bank directed 12.87 billion soums to implementation of investment projects for modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production capacities. The bank also issued loans for 13.6 billion soums to small businesses.

Within the implementation of programme on developing cashless settlement among population based on banking cards, the bank issued over 51,000 soums cards. It also increased number of issued VISA cards by 84% in 2010.
