Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 November, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to discuss projects being implemented in the field of public procurement in Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations, events planned for the coming year to attract business entities to public procurement, projects planned to be implemented to increase capacity in public procurement, improving the professionalization system of public procurement in Uzbekistan, and other issues were discussed in detail.
At the same time, ADB representatives expressed their readiness to support efforts aimed at further improving the country's public procurement system, including encouraging the participation of local manufacturers in public procurement and developing green procurement.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation for the successful implementation of the planned events.
