Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The 2027 AFC Asian Cup will be held from 7 January to 5 February 2027, in Saudi Arabia. The tournament will take place in cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar, according to the Asian Football Confederation.
In Riyadh, the matches will be played at five stadiums: King Fahd Sports City, King Saud University Stadium, Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University Stadium, Kingdome Arena, and Al-Shabab Stadium.
Jeddah will host matches at two stadiums: King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City.
Al Khobar will feature a new, state-of-the-art arena, completing the world-class infrastructure ready to host the tournament.
A total of 24 teams will participate in the tournament. Eighteen teams, including the Uzbekistan national team, have already secured their place.
The remaining spots will be decided in the final qualification round, which will begin in March 2025. Six groups of four teams, determined by a draw, will compete for qualification. The winners of each group will earn a spot in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.
