Ministry of Culture and Sport, National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Rowing and Canoe Federation of Uzbekistan and general sponsor of the Federation – Uzbekenergo – are organizers of the competition. All conditions were created for the guests and athletes.

Before the championship, the congress of the Asian Canoe Federation was held in Samarkand. The congress discusses development of the canoe and rowing in the continent and tasks in these directions.

The Republican Rowing Channel in Samarkand region was reconstructed before the tournament. In particular, hotel, dining room, conference hall, training and other facilities were reconstructed.

New equipment of German firm IMAS on start and finish control were installed at the cannel. New display was also installed.

Over 450 athletes from 25 countries of the Asian continent are participating at the tournament.
