The bank’s assets grew from 1.48 trillion soums to 1.763 trillion soums in the reviewed period. The money resources and accounts in the Central Bank of Uzbekistan rose from 329.18 billion soums to 487.563 billion soums, and resources in banks decreased from 215.404 billion soums to 185,556 billion soums.
Liabilities of Asaka Bank made up 1.435 trillion soums in 2009 against 1.291 trillion soums in 2008, of which 221.072 billion soums (308.83 billion soums in 2008) were resources of the bank and 1.119 trillion soums (946.378 billion soums) were resources of the customers.
The volume of issued debt securities of the bank increased from 11.581 million soums to 60.44 billion soums within the 2009.
Asaka Bank’s capital grew from 194.467 billion soums to 328.146 billion soums, the report said. The charter capital of the bank reached 334.121 billion soums in 2009 against 40.701 billion soums at the end of 2008.
