Asaka Bank’s assets reach 8.1 trillion soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aggregate assets of the Joint stock commercial bank Asaka increased by 2.691 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2016 and as of 1 April 2016 made up 8.1 trillion soums.

The volume of capital of the Bank rose by 118 billion soums and reached 955.7 billion soums.

The volume of credit investments and leasing in the soum equivalent reached 3.9 trillion soums. Long-term loans make up major part of the loan portfolio.

In the first quarter of 2016, the bank allocated 656.3 billion soums to development of enterprises in key sectors of economy of Uzbekistan. It also financed leasing projects for over 16.1 billion soums and aggregate leasing portfolio – 139.7 billion soums.

The banks directed about 332.2 billion soums to development of small and private businesses in the reporting period.

In order to expand production of food and non-food consumer goods, as well as saturation of internal market, Asaka Bank allocated loans for 174.2 billion soums.

The balance of the deposits of population rose by 131.2 billion soums and made up 632.1 billion soums in January-March 2016.

The bank issued over 1.69 million banking cards and installed over 10,355 POS-terminals. Turnover with banking cards was 573.4 billion soums.
