Finance 22/11/2007 Asaka Bank’s assets increases by 52.7%
The assets of Asaka Bank, the second largest Uzbek commercial bank, made up 1.2 trillion soums as of 1 October 2007 or increased by 52.7% year-on-year.

Interest-earning assets of the bank totaled 921.6 billion soums, including credit investments – 413.7 billion soums, or 34.6% of all assets.

The loans in national currency, allocated by the bank, made up 130.6 billion soums and in foreign currency – 283.1 billion soums. Long-term loans prevailed in the bank’s credit portfolio (83.3%).

In nine months of 2007, the bank issued mortgage loans to 165 clients at the volume of 4.2 billion soums. This includes 60 young families, who received soft loans for 1.9 billion soums.
