Asaka Bank issues 489.2bn soums of loans to small businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State joint stock commercial bank Asaka (Asaka Bank) issued loans for 498.2 billion soums to development of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in past period of 2013.

The bank issued 4.1 billion soums to development of animal husbandry and 23.1 billion soums to business activities of young families.

About 75.8 billion soums were allocated to development of service sector and 39 billion soums to finance projects of businesswomen. Some 4,400 new jobs were created.

Asaka Bank said that it issued 110 billion soums to finance projects on expansion of production of food products.
