Asaka Bank has started to emit banking cards from May 1999. As of 1 July 2013, the bank allocated 1.081 million banking cards, which grew by 237,900 cards compared to the same period of 2013, the bank said.
Number of POS-terminal installed at trade-service enterprises, banks and points on receiving payments for communal services, which increased by 453 units year-on-year.
In the first half of 2013, total turnover of operations with use of banking cards reached 611.46 billion soums, which grew by 169.4 billion soums year-on-year. The bank continued to introduce so called salary projects. As of 1 July 2013, about 7,125 salary projects were implemented.
All branches and mini-banks of Asaka Bank have some 473 terminals. The bank also has 46 infokiosks and 27 ATMs. As of 1 July 2013, the bank received 29 billion soums as payments to communal services.
Asaka Bank said that it also issued over 117,500 units of international payment cards MasterCard as of 1 July 2013, which rose 1.2 times year-on-year. Transactions with these cards exceeded US$25.8 million in January-June 2013.
