The bank noted that the resources will be used to construction of the complex on production of polyvinylchloride (PVC) on the basis of Navoiazot.

The loan will be used to finance a contract on construction of the line on PVC production and purchase of equipment. It is expected that realization of the project will start by the end of 2015.

The project envisages construction of the complex on production of 100,000 tonnes of PVC, 75,000 tonnes of caustic soda and 300,000 tonnes of methanole a year.

Navoiazot of Uzkimyosanoat signed a contract with China САМС Engineering Со. on construction of the complex on turn-key bases with the cost of US$439.8 million in the result of direct talks.

Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan will provide US$65.97 million to the project.
