Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- World boxing champion Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev has made a successful debut at the Olympic Games.
The Uzbek athlete faced off against Egypt’s Omar Elawady, showcasing his skill and securing a victory that advanced him to the quarterfinals.
Now, on 3 August, Muydinkhujaev will fight for a spot in the semifinals against the winner of the match between Makan Traoré (France) and Nikolai Terteryan (Denmark).
