Art historians discussed current issues in the format of an international video conference

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod organized an international scientific and experimental online conference on the theme “EGO-XX: universal values and a national peculiarity in art”.

Along with representatives of the cultural circles of Uzbekistan, art scientists from Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, Tajikistan and Switzerland took part in the event.

With an emphasis on the principles of universal values and national characteristics in art, the conference also covered topics such as traditions and innovations in the visual arts, a new look at tangible and intangible cultural heritage, aesthetics and design technology. The participants exchanged experience, got acquainted with the scientific and creative processes taking place in world art.

Rector of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod N. Saifullaev noted that in Uzbekistan much attention is paid to the development of culture and art. A vivid confirmation of this was the recent Presidential Decree on improving the effectiveness of the field of fine and applied art, aimed at creating new opportunities for young talents.

Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan A. Nuriddinov noted that the opinions of art historians participating in the conference are very important for the further development of fine and applied art, and the field of design. He expressed confidence that such events for young scientists will become a school for the study of experience.
