Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 June in Paris, Art and Culture Development Foundation signed agreements with the Louvre Museum and the Arab World Institute to hold two large-scale exhibitions dedicated to the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition “Treasures of the oases of Uzbekistan. At the crossroads of caravan routes" will be held at the Louvre Museum from 24 November 2022 to 6 March 2023 and will be dedicated to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, which was located on the Silk Road from the 3rd to the 15th centuries. Especially for the exhibition, Uzbek and French specialists are restoring about 70 exhibits from the museums of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition "Road to Samarkand, colors and splendor of Uzbekistan" at the Institute of the Arab World will open on 22 November 2022 and will last until 4 June 2023. It will present the richest material culture of Uzbekistan at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries.
