Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbek Greco-Roman wrestler Aram Vardanyan faced off against last year’s World Championship silver medalist Nao Kusaka from Japan in the quarterfinals of the Olympics.
Unfortunately, Vardanyan was defeated by the Japanese athlete.
However, if Kusaka advances to the finals, Vardanyan will have a chance to compete for the bronze medal.
