Antimonopoly Committee: Receipt of payment for drinking water and sewage at new rates should be stopped

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Commercial banks and post offices were informed and warned that the acceptance of payment for drinking water and sewage at new rates should be discontinued. This was reported by the information service of the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

New tariffs for these services will come into force on 10 May 2019, emphasizes the Anti-Monopoly Committee.

The Committee reminded the State Unitary Enterprise "Suvsoz" that the new prices should be applied on time. "Suvsoz" undertakes to recalculate consumer payments received to date on new tariffs.

Antimonopoly Committee called consumers to contact it representatives via phone (71) 241-58-64 if the banks and post office demand payment for water on new tariffs before 10 May.
