Another village in Kashkadarya is being turned into a tourist village

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The village of Bashir in the Kitab district of the Kashkadarya region is turning into a tourist village. It is in this village that the shrine "Hazrat Bashir" is located. The name of the shrine is associated with the name of the Sultan of His Majesty Said Ahmad Bashir (1368-1464), who lived in this place.

It is worth noting that by 2022, more than 400,000 local and foreign tourists have visited the Hazrat Bashir shrine. This place attracts not only with its extraordinary nature, but also with its unique history.

According to various sources, they did not have children, despite the fact that the father of Hazrat Sultan Said Ahmad Bashir Khoja Hassan is 90 years old, and their mother Bibi Malakhat is 80 years old. One day Said Nematulla, the brother of the pir Amir Temur Said Baraki, who was heading in this direction, blesses them. Soon the prayer was answered, and Hazrat Bashir was born. However, milk from an aging mother does not come. The surrounding people begin to call the baby "Beshir" (without milk). By a miracle of God, a spring appeared in their yard under a large plane tree, and milk flowed from it until the child passed infancy. This spring is still famous for its icy, crystal clear water and healing properties even for cancer. It should be noted that most tourists who come to the shrine drink this water and take it with them.

Hazrat Bashir was buried in Niyaztepe in the village. There is a legend that "the juniper tree in front of the grave of Hazrat Bashir was the cane of this man." It is said that Hazrat Bashir threw his cane and said, "Wherever it falls, this place will be my grave." The rod is stuck to the ground with a thick side. Therefore, unlike other trees, its underside is thin, and the top side is thick. This talisman certainly does not leave tourists indifferent.

The village of Khazrati Bashir is located on the banks of the Kashkadarya River. The village is dominated by tall maples. The area is also adjacent to the mountain. Therefore, in the summer months, travelers from different regions of our country and foreign countries come here. They rest on the banks of the river along with the visit of Her Majesty Father Bashir. Pilgrimage tourism, ecotourism and agrotourism are developed in the village.

It is worth noting that a number of works are being carried out this year to increase the number of tourists visiting the village to 700 thousand and turn the village into a tourist village.

Currently, there are more than 20 family guest houses in the village. This allows foreign and local tourists to stay longer in the area and get to know the lifestyle of the locals. Serene nature, clean mountain air, healing spring, hospitable villagers, organic fruits, delicious food and peace of mind will surely attract tourists.

For information, the village "Varganza" in Kashkadarya is the first agro-tourist village in the region. In 2019, the international festival of agro-tourism "Granat" was held here for the first time, and the village was given the status of "agro-tourist village".
