Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 January, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov paid a visit to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held an informal meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart at the Amirsoy resort complex in the Tashkent region.

The leaders discussed pressing issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as matters on the international and regional agenda.

Sadyr Japarov praised the modern facilities and infrastructure of the Amirsoy ski resort, noting that they meet global standards.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to implement joint projects for the development of resort and recreational zones, leveraging the unique natural landscapes and rich biodiversity of both Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
