Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 January, the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Inha University in Tashkent, and Uzavtotrans Agency decided to develop a project on joint creation of an electronic platform of an international multimodal transport and logistics center.

The project aims to create a unified electronic platform for collecting, processing and analyzing information related to the transportation of export-import goods, as well as their operational and medium-term planning, optimization of transportation and storage during transportation of export-import goods, reduction of transport costs, increase delivery efficiency and warehouse operations due to the coordination, accurate calculation and rational actions of all participants in the logistics process.

In order to join efforts to create an electronic platform, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Inha University in Tashkent and the Agency Uzavtotrans.

As part of the memorandum, Inha University in Tashkent, together with specialists of the Uzavtotrans, organizes short-term training, professional seminars, trainings, master classes, and joint research with the involvement of university specialists on the use of the platform.
