Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At 10:41 on Monday, 6 May, an earthquake occurred in Urgut district of Samarkand region, the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said in a statement.
The magnitude of the tremors was 4. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The distance to Tashkent was 263 kilometers in a southwestern direction.
In Urgut region, the tremors force was 2-3 points, in Tailak, Bulungur and Samarkand regions - 2 points, in Kitab and Shakhrisabz districts of Kashkadarya region - also 2 points.
