Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev held negotiations in Hungary with the commercial director of WizzAir airline Silvia Gonzalez and discussed joint advertising campaigns to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, as well as other topical issues.

During the meeting, the Hungarian side was given detailed information about reforms in the field of transport logistics in Uzbekistan, the introduction of the “open skies” regime at the country’s regional airports, and more.

The WizzAir representative emphasized that Uzbekistan has impressive tourism, cultural, historical and investment potential, and, accordingly, is an interesting destination for travelers.

As a result of the negotiations, a decision was made to conduct a joint advertising campaign on international flights and the airline’s Internet sites to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
