Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Leonid Marinich, held a meeting with the Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan, Adkham Ikramov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues regarding bilateral cooperation in the field of sports. The Belarusian Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Uzbek Minister of Sports for his support of Belarusian initiatives.

Special attention was given to the successful cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in physical culture and sports in recent years.

Both sides positively evaluated the participation of athletes from both countries in joint training camps and international competitions held in both Belarus and Uzbekistan. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to further develop cooperation in the sports sector.
