Amanmuradova to meet Elena Baltacha
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
British No.2 Elena Baltacha is set to face Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan in the first round of the US$100,000 in Athens, Greece.
Baltacha won the US$75,000 in Shrewsbury last week, breaking into the top 100 as a result of her performance.
Her 6’ 2”, big-serving opponent is in form as well, having reached the final of the WTA Tour event in her home town of Tashkent last week where she lost to Shahar Peer (Israel).
