Group A
1 – Uzbekistan win or draw, Qatar win
Uzbekistan and Qatar qualify
2 – Uzbekistan and China draw, Qatar draw
Uzbekistan advance and Qatar and China finish with four points. Qatar qualifies courtesy of a better head-to-head record against China.
3 – Uzbekistan win, Kuwait win
Uzbekistan advance while the second qualifiers will be determined by goal difference with China, Qatar and Kuwait all finishing with three points.
4 – China win, Qatar win
China, Uzbekistan, Qatar all finish with six points and the two quarter-final qualifiers will be determined by goal difference.
5 – China win, Qatar draw or lose
China and Uzbekistan qualify.
Group B
1. Japan qualify if:
They draw or beat Saudi Arabia
2. Syria qualify if:
They beat Jordan
3. Jordan qualify if:
They beat or draw with Syria.
4. Jordan and Syria qualify if:
Both will qualify together, depending on the margin of Syria’s win against Jordan, and also the margin of Japan’s defeat to Saudi Arabia. (For example, Syria win 1-0, but Japan lose 2-0)
Group C
1. Korea Republic qualify if:
They beat or draw with India OR Bahrain lose or draw with Australia
2. Bahrain qualify if:
They beat Australia.
3. Australia qualify if:
They beat or draw with Bahrain.
4. India have no chance of qualifying.
Group D
1. Iran have already qualified to the quarter-finals on top of the group.
2. Iraq qualify if:
They beat or draw with DPR Korea
3. DPR Korea qualify if:
They beat Iraq
4. UAE qualify if:
They beat Iran and DPR Korea defeat Iraq. But UAE’s margin of win has to be higher than DPR Korea’s.
Note: Overall goal difference will be taken in consideration in case of equal goal difference between the teams concerned.
