Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 31 January, the Government of Uzbekistan approved a resolution aimed at improving the functionality of official government websites.

According to the document, starting from 1 March, all government websites will be integrated into a unified platform—the Government Portal (gov.uz), operated by the Unified Integrator of State Information Systems, Uzinfocom.

Existing website addresses will redirect users to new pages on the portal, while the previous versions of the sites will be deactivated. However, all previously published data will remain preserved. Heads of government agencies will bear personal responsibility for the operation of their respective websites on the platform.

A list of required information to be published on the portal, along with its update frequency, will be developed. The content will be available in the state and Karakalpak languages, with the possibility of additional translations into other languages, either in full or in a condensed format.

All materials published on the platform will undergo approval by the Prime Minister’s press service within one business day.

Additionally, the Cybersecurity Center and the Ministry of Digital Technologies will conduct biannual security audits and monitor the platform's compliance with security standards.
