National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan held a session of the General Assembly in Tashkent on 6 January 2017.

During the session, Alisher Sultanov has been elected as the President of National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. He replaced Mirobror Usmanov at this post.

Director General of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari Valery Tyan, President of Uzbekistan Boxing Federation Salim Abduvaliev were elected as the Deputy President of NOC. Farkhod Turdiev kept his post as the Deputy President of NOC.

The delegates of the assembly expressed gratitude to Mirabror Usmanov for his great contribution to development of sports and Olympic movement in Uzbekistan.
