The qualification round will be held from 4 to 12 October in Doha, Qatar. Uzbekistan is in Group A along with Nepal, India, Turkmenistan and hosts Qatar.

Before the start of the qualification round, Uzbek coach said that Uzbekistan has one goal – to reach finals of the AFC U-19 Championship. He added that Uzbekistan respects all opponents, but will play only for victory. He noted that all teams have equal chances to qualify to the tournament.

Aleksei Evstafeev said Uzbekistan will kick qualification campaign with match against Turkmenistan and noted that the first day rest may benefit the team as the team will have chance to watch matches of their opponents.

He said that Uzbekistan has all necessary information about the opponents.
