Aleksandr Volkov joins coaches’ staff of Uzbekistan national team

Aleksandr Volkov joined the coaches staff of Uzbekistan national team. The decision on his appointment was taked at the meeting of the coaches of the Center of national teams on 27 November 2014.
Volkov will work with national team along with coaches Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov and senior coach Shukhrat Maqsudov. Mirjalal Kasimov is a head coach of Uzbekistan national team.
Uzbekistan is currently holding preparation to the AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia in 2015. Uzbekistan will hold training camps in Dubai on 1-14 December and 17-29 December.
Within the training camp, Uzbekistan will play five friendly matches. The first match will be against Auckland (New Zealand) on 4 December. Uzbekistan will play against Kuwait on 10 December, Palestine (13 December), Jordan (20 December) and Iraq (25 December 2014).
