Holmatov joined Pakhtakor Tashkent from Neftchi Ferghana two years ago and his contract was expiring this year.

Akmal Holmatov said he is satisfied with the life in the club and he accepted proposal to prolong contract for another year.

He noted that he now should prove that he worth starting eleven to the new Pakhtakor coach and competition will strengthen in the club. He expressed hope that he will be useful for Pakhtakor.
