Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  As part of a new phase of the joint project between the Zamin Foundation and the Hydrometeorological Service Agency, automatic air pollution monitoring stations will be installed in seven additional districts of Tashkent. This was reported by the Zamin Foundation press service.

Currently, specialists are conducting setup and test runs of the stations. Once operational, real-time air quality data will be available on a web platform.

Before the stations are launched, practical training sessions will be held for Tashkent’s Uzhydromet staff on the setup and operation of the new equipment.

This initiative represents the next step in developing a comprehensive automated air quality monitoring system in one of Central Asia’s most densely populated cities, enabling not only improved data accessibility for residents but also timely tracking of pollution levels for targeted interventions.
